New Infographics on 2020 Candidates' Health Plans

Feb 7, 2020 | Health Care

Our recent report, Primary Care: Estimating Leading Democratic Candidates' Health Plans, provides an in-depth analysis and estimates of the health policies proposed by the leading four presidential candidates in the Democratic primary: Vice President Joe Biden, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Senator Bernie Sanders, and Senator Elizabeth Warren. This analysis is a part of our US Budget Watch 2020 project, which is bringing information and accountability to the 2020 presidential campaign through factchecks, policy explainers, and larger fiscal analyses.

To summarize our analysis, we've created four infographics highlighting key aspects of our findings – including how much each plan will add to the debt, how much each candidate will spend and save, the coverage impact of each plan, and the effect of the plans on national health expenditures.
